Fluorite
Fluorite is a synonym of fluorspar, which is called fluere= to flow in Latin and has been known since the 18th century. In former times fluorite was also called spar, like many ore-free stones.
Fluorite can be found in deposits in Mexico, China and USA.
Fluorite appears colourless and in all colours, or sometimes even in several colours, which is then called rainbow fluorite.
