Citrine is a yellow variety of the crystal quartz
Citrine is produced by the influence of natural, weak radioactive radiation,
which ionises aluminium contained in traces and thereby makes it yellowish, or by the intercalation
of iron at higher temperatures (above 300°C)
The colour of the citrine is light lemon yellow to golden yellow. Brown tones are also possible, as citrine can flow into smoky quartz.
Citrine grows like rock crystal in prismatic crystals and is not found as crystal lawn like amethyst.
Such alleged citrines are certainly fired and therefore fake amethysts.
At Kehuna Stones and Senses you will only get natural, not fired or irradiated natural citrines.
