Falkenauge
Falkenauge hat seinen Namen im 19. Jhd bekommen, aufgrund seiner faserigen Struktur, die im richtigen Schliff einen wogenden Lichtschimmer hervorbringt, welche an Tieraugen erinnert. Synonyme sind Katzenaugen-Quarz und Schillerquarz. Falkenauge wird oft mit Tigerauge verwechselt.
Falkenauge findet man in Südafrika, und hat die Farben blauschwarz bis blaugrün mt schillernden Flächen.
