Howlite
Howlite was named after the Canadian mineralogist H.How, and is a very rare mineral. Howlite is a calcium borosilicate, and synonyms for it are khaulite and silicoboroalcite.
The only occurrence of howlite is in California/USA in the Mohave Desert.
Howlite is monoclinic and appears dull white to ivory in colour, and is often streaked with brown or black veins.
