Azurites and malachites
Azurite and malachite are both copper carbonates, which belong to the mineral class of carbonates.
Malachites are found in Zaire and Russia.
Azurites in the USA, Mexico, Chile, Namibia and Australia
Malachite usually forms bulbous or glass-headed aggregates with beautiful markings.
Azurite, on the other hand, forms crystals that join together to form rosettes or spheres.
