Pietersite
Pietersite was only discovered near Outjo/Namibia at the end of the 20th century. Pietersite is a rubble stone of tiger's and hawk's eye, and was named after the trader Sid Pieters, who first marketed the mineral. The mineralogically correct name for pietersite, however, would be hawk's eye breccia or tiger's eye breccia.
The locality in Outjo/Namibia is so far the only one worldwide.
Pietersite has a blotchy pattern of blue-black and golden-yellow-brown iridescent spots.
