Kunzite

Kunzite was discovered in California in 1902 by the gemstone expert George Frederick Kunz and was also named after him. Important Kunzite deposits are in Afghanistan, Madagascar, Brazil and the USA.

The colour of kunzite varies from pink, pink-violet to lilac.
