Sunstone
The name sunstone (also called aventurine feldspar) refers to copper- to gold-coloured glittering feldspars, and refers only to the sparkling appearance. Synonyms are aventurine sunstone, delawarite, heliolite and sunshine.
It is found in India, Madagascar, Malawi, Russia, Norway and Oregon/USA.
Indian, Norwegian and Russian sunstone has iridescent orange to reddish brown hues. Sunstone from Oregon is red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue-green or colourless.
