Septarian
The term septarian comes from the Latin "separare = to separate, to separate". It has been used since the 18th century for roundish concretions in sedimentary rocks when these are internally fissured. There are no synonyms for septarian.
Important occurrences are found in Utah/USA and Madagascar.
The colour of the concretion itself is grey, calcite inside is mostly yellow.
