Schungite or also Shungite can contain up to 98% carbon.

Schungite probably formed from digested sludge (seaweed), which contains fullerenes
There are three quality levels:
high gloss carbon content 98%.
Black schungite Carbon content 50-70%.
Grey schungite carbon content 30-70%.

Schungite is found in Finland or Russia (Karelia)
Schungite can also be used as a substitute for activated carbon
